More Infirmities

Dear Milo,

The classroom was, in all senses of the word, sparse this week. Many of my friends were down with a flu this week, so much so that our class was half empty, or rather half full, for much of the week. The survivors, were by all means cesspools of germs and nasty viruses. Every lesson saw discrete symphonies of coughs, punctuated by crescendos manifested by the phlegm and mucus that were clogging our windpipes. I'm rather proud to say that I had a concerto of my own for one of the periods.

Well I'm glad that we have all recovered, although we are still coughing quite terribly. My throat has not gotten any better since last week. This is partially engendered by the presence of long queues in front of healthy food stalls. This unequivocally compels me to buy food from Muslim stalls or the Roti Prata stall, which almost always contain chilli, curry, and other spices that would please the coughing ghoul that is bludgeoning my respiratory system.

Guess I better consume my cough mixtures. "May cause drowsiness".
